So I finished Passion on Wednesday evening. **SPOILER ALERT** Lauren Kate knows how to write a convincing love story that in this book takes you through 5000 years of history between Daniel and Luce. You get to see her lives and their love unfold throughout history as Luce travels back through the "announcers or shadows" of her past to try to unravel the curse that causes Luce to die every 17 years. You read this story and she makes you feel like you're there with them watching Luce's death unfold. You feel his heart break when she dies. You feel her anguish as she watches him in pain time after time. She wants to end his suffering.
Meanwhile, present day Daniel and the rest of the angels along with Shelby and Miles are hurtling through time as well trying to find Luce and bring her back to the present before she can change any detail that might alter their future.
The ending will leave you breathless after the 400+ page wild ride that they've been on to find one another. I for one am very much looking forward to the Spring when she will release Rapture, the fourth and final novel in the Fallen Series.
